Two arrested for alleged theft

Two suspects have been arrested and booked into the Iberville Parish Jail in connection to the theft of two generators from a local business.

According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, Shelvey Jackson and Jerome Alexander, Jr. were arrested for the alleged theft. Jackson was arrested for felony theft and Jerome Alexander Jr. was arrested for possession of stolen things.

The stolen generators were recovered and have been returned to the rightful owner.

The Sheriff’s Office has also located other allegedly stolen items during their investigation. If these are you belongings please call 225-687-3553.
