The West Feliciana Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals for attempted second-degree murder.
West Feliciana Sheriff Brian Spillman said Monday evening, July 25th, several homes and an empty car had bullet holes after two Mississippi men got into a gunfight in a quiet W. Feliciana neighborhood.
Derrion Stine, 25, & Deandre Tolliver, 27, both of Woodville, MS, were visiting the neighborhood when the two got into an argument.


Sheriff Spillman said the two started shooting at each other as they chased each other through the streets.
Stine is accused of fleeing but was eventually caught by deputies at the corner of Highways 61 & 66. He was arrested.
Tolliver was injured in the shooting at showed up at a hospital by private vehicle. He was treated, released & arrested.
“This criminal activity isn’t common in our neighborhoods and we’ll take whatever steps necessary to ensure our residents can enjoy a peaceful afternoon without being fearful for their children to play outside,” said Sheriff Spillman. “I’m grateful to the residents who came forward and shared information that helped us put these criminals behind bars. Both men have a history of weapons & narcotics arrests.”
Both Stine & Tolliver were arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon-aggravated assault.
Stine is also charged with flight from an officer & reckless operation. His bond is set at $163,500 and Tolliver’s bond is set at $160,000.
The case remains under investigation and additional arrests may be pending.
