The other armed robbery was on Jan. 14th where an unidentified suspect walked into the Watson Dollar Tree, 33939 LA Hwy 16.

“Upon entering, the suspect produced a handgun and demanded cash from the register,” said Sheriff Ard.

Two people have now been arrested.

-Rachel A Araque, 42, of Denham Springs arrested on two counts of principal to armed robbery

“Armed robbery and burglary detectives were able to connect both Williams & Araque to both crimes. Detectives were also able to recover clothing worn at the time of the crimes.
