
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two 20-yr-olds on Feb. 25th in connection to the murder of a 14-yr-old girl.
Taysia Folse was killed nearly eight months ago and her body left in a wet, grassy area on the side of a road east of Ponchatoula.
During the investigation, forensic and physical evidence collected at the scene connected Travon Washington, 20, as a primary suspect in the case. He was found & arrested in Washington Parish. There, he was charged with an unrelated second degree murder. Once extradited to Tangipahoa Parish, he will be charged with the first degree murder of Folse.
Elijah Williams, 20, is charged with first degree murder as well.
