BATON ROUGE —- A total of seven fraternity members from LSU have now been cited for their alleged involvement in two off-campus hazing incidents for TKE Fraternity members, who were pledging. The four additional students were cited this week. It comes after three LSU other students were summoned in late October.
All seven students are said to be members of the TKE Fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon. The arrested are accused of hitting several fraternity pledges at an off-campus event on October 9, but no specifics have been provided into the alleged hazing.
In total, seven students were issued summons:
- Thomas Lavergne, 22, cited on Oct. 29: criminal hazing, simple battery and principle to theft
- Brody Tanner, 19, cited on Oct. 29: criminal hazing and simple battery
- Logan Greneaux, 20, cited on Oct. 30: principle to criminal hazing and principle to simple battery
- Jacob Razmus, 20, cited first week of November: principle to criminal hazing, principle to simple battery and principle to theft
- Dylan Achord, 19, cited first week of November: principle to criminal hazing, principle to simple battery and principle to theft
- James McKay, 19, cited first week of November: principle to criminal hazing, principle to simple battery and principle to theft
- Davis Gilmer, 21, cited first week of November: criminal hazing, simple battery and principle to theft
The principle charge means the students allegedly helped in the criminal hazing battery of the TKE Fraternity pledges.
