BATON ROUGE — Two people and four dogs were rescued from an early morning house fire in Baton Rouge.
The fire reportedly started on the front porch of a home on Voss Dr. between Winbourne Ave. and Choctaw Dr. near Istrouma High School.
Firefighters say when they arrived one person was outside and unharmed. They went inside the home and pulled another person and four dogs. EMS transported that person to the hospital for minor injuries.
ÂThe dogs were unharmed, fire officials said.
The fire was contained to the front of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
