Two people shot while asleep in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. — Two people woke up to gunfire around 5:45am on Friday, February 17th in Baton Rouge.

The shooting happened on Chanadia Dr., that’s off of Bluebonnet Blvd. near Staring.

The victims told police they woke up to gunshots into the home and realized both were struck.

Both people were hit in the legs and transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.

As of now, there are no motives and no arrests.
