It’s how Nikeal Franklin, 19, and Jy’Shaun Jackson, also 19, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the shooting at 4619 Bennington Avenue, or Club Dior Bar at Lounge, at 1:30am.

Franklin was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on 12 counts of attempted 1st degree murder.

Jackson was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for 12 counts of principal to attempted 1st degree murder.

The arrests came nearly three weeks since a dozen people were injured in the mass shooting where BRPD officers were working extra-duty outside Club Dior when the shooting took place.

After the shooting, the state ATC issued an emergency suspension of both Club Dior and Reggie’s in Tigerland’s (in a separate investigation) alcohol licenses.

This is an ongoing investigation.
