Two wanted for alleged armed robbery in Darrow

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating two suspects accused of an armed robbery in Darrow on March 27th.

According to APSO, the violent crimes unit is searching for Calvin Adams III of Convent and Kevin Ross Jr. of Monroe in relation to a shooting and armed robbery near Galaxy Blvd.

Officials say deputies responded to reports of shooting in the Galaxy Boulevard and Neptune Boulevard area at 9 a.m. When deputies arrived they found several shell casings.

After an investigation, detectives learned Ross and Adams allegedly orchestrated an attack on someone. No injuries were reported.

APSO officials say both men will be charged with:

  • Attempted first-degree murder
  • Illegal use of weapons
  • Armed Robbery
  • Armed robbery with a firearm
  • Second-degree kidnapping
  • Criminal street gangs and patterns of criminal street gang activity

Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office anonymously at 225-621-4636 or by texting 847411 to the anonymous tip line or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP (7867). You must call Capital Region Crime Stoppers to get a cash reward.
