Vehicle chase that started in New Orleans ends in Gonzales

Louisiana State Police troopers started pursuing a possible stolen vehicle in New Orleans East that led them on a chase into Ascension Parish Wednesday evening. 

The chase ended in Gonzales on Burnside with a heavy presence of state police troopers. As the chase entered different parishes, units from those jurisdictions did assist state police in the chase.

Officials said two people have been arrested, but they did not have details on what the charges are or how the chase started.
