ROBERT — A vehicle fire closed one of the eastbound lanes of Interstate 12 Tuesday afternoon.
State Police are assisting with the fire, which is at the line that divides St. Tammany Parish and Tangipahoa Parish.
The left lane is open, police said.
Drivers should expect delays, troopers said, and may want to adjust travel plans to account for backed up traffic in that area.
A photo of the fire posted online appears to show a burning trailer.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
