Vehicle flees after hitting pedestrian at LSU

A woman was hit by a vehicle on Highland Rd. on LSU’s campus around 8pm on Saturday night.

Sources say the vehicle hit the young woman going around 55mph tossing her in the air and she landed atop the vehicle. That vehicle is said to have fled the scene.

The woman has been transported to a hospital in critical condition.

No further information was readily available.
