The West Feliciana Parish School Superintendent said they have found no evidence of any inappropriate relationship between any high school students and a teacher.
On a separate note, a West Feliciana Parish High School teacher resigned on Tuesday, Nov. 8th after possible policy violations.
Unfiltered with Kiran has learned the teacher was placed on leave last week over personnel matters. The teacher’s name and her school where she worked have not been released.
Sources tell UWK she may have violated two school policies by getting too close with some of the students, but not in a sexual manner. Amid that investigation, the teacher resigned.
Since then though, there have been rumors on social media of an inappropriate student-teacher relationship, not specifically with the teacher who has resigned.
W. Feliciana Schools Superintendent Hollis Milton released a statement providing some more details.
It has been reported to me that a rumor has been circulating on social media about an improper student-teacher relationship within the West Feliciana Parish School system. The rumor is completely untrue. A teacher in our system recently resigned following an investigation for possible policy violations, which were not related in any way to sexual misconduct. No allegations of sexual misconduct have been received or investigated.
As of now, there are no reports of any inappropriate relationship between any students or teachers in West Feliciana Parish schools.
