WALKER — Walker Police recently arrested a 52-year-old man following a months-long investigation into the possession of child pornography.
Brian Michael Louviere, of Walker, was taken into custody on May 15 and charged with 32 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles.
According to officials, the investigation began in November 2024 after a credible witness reported Louviere was in pocession of pornographic images of children. Detectives obtained warrants to search his home, digital devices and other computer equipment, where they reportedly found pornographic materials involving minors.
“It is disturbing to learn that there are people in our community that engage in this type of criminality,” said Walker Chief of Police David Addison. “We want our citizens to know however that we are being diligent in seeking out such people and that we will aggressively pursue them, investigate and lock them up. We do not want child predators in Walker.”
Louviere remains in the Livingston Parish Detention Center with bond set at $3.2 million.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials said additional charges are possible.
