A Livingston Parish woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Lafourche Parish on June 22, 2022, according to Louisiana State Police.
Shortly before 7 a.m., state police was notified of a crash on Louisiana Highway 308 near Amoco Road. The victim in the crash was 29-year-old Kristen Taylor, of Walker.
Officials say Taylor was traveling north on LA Hwy 308 and for reasons still unknown, she veered off the road and hit a utility pole. Officials say Taylor was properly restrained but suffered severe injuries and medics transported her to a nearby hospital where she later died.
The crash is still under investigation.
