Shots fired at Cortana Place Walmart, suspect arrested

BATON ROUGE — Shots were fired Sunday afternoon shattering a window at the Walmart Supercenter located at Cortana Place.

An East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Deputy working extra duty at the Walmart responded to the shooting outside of the store, an EBRSO spokesperson confirms to Unfiltered with Kiran.

A window was shattered, but no one was injured in the shooting.

Deputies apprehended a suspect and recovered the weapon used. The suspect’s name and charges have not yet been released.
