TANGIPAHOA — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who escaped a jail six months ago.
Jamarcus Cyprian, 20, is wanted for escaping the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in May 2024. He was serving time for an armed robbery when he somehow escaped from the parish jail, and has been missing since the escape.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Detectives have information that Cyprian has been seen back in the Tangipahoa Parish area recently. Officials added that he has changed his hairstyle.
There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to Cyprian’s capture. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office directly at 985-748-3343.
