West Baton Rouge asking for public’s help in finding wanted suspect

WEST BATON ROUGE —- West Baton Rouge Parish Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding Kayla Pointer, 18, of Baton Rouge.

She’s wanted in connection to an intentional hit and run, following an argument that took place at the business of Super Lucky Louie’s Truck Stop and Casino in Port Allen on Sunday April 16, 2023.

WBRSO says Pointer has an arrest warrant for principal to attempted second degree murder.

Detectives are also looking for a 2010 Chevrolet HHR (Silver), no license plate information. This vehicle should have broken rear glass and a large crack on the lower driver’s side windshield.

Anyone with information regarding Pointer’s whereabouts or the location and owner of this vehicle, is urged to call West Baton Rouge Parish Detectives at 225-343-9234 or Capital Region Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP (7867).
