ADDIS —- It was late Saturday night when a couple came across what appeared to be a human body.
It was around 11 p.m. when the couple was riding a side-by-side between the levee and river in a wooded area around Younger Dr.
Addis Police officers responded to the scene, along with the Coroners office in West Baton Rouge.
Officials did confirm the body is of a young male and added preliminary reports appear to be a self-inflicted injury but the investigation is ongoing.
No further details have been released, including his name.
