Update: West Baton Rouge inmate now back in custody

WEST BATON ROUGE — The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office reports the escaped work release inmate is now back in custody after walking off a job site.

He was found in Baton Rouge and facing an additional charge now for simple escape.

Inmate Brandon Arnold, 36, who walked off a job site Thursday morning according to WBRSO.

Arnold was last seen within the area of Coursey Boulevard and Airline Highway in Baton Rouge.

Arnold was serving time through DOC on drug-related charges.
