ST. FRANCISVILLE — Bond has now been set for a 43-year-old man, who was arrested on July 19 in connection to a kidnapping. He is considered a person of interest in two others missing women’s cases, according to officials.
According to West Feliciana Sheriff Brian Spillman, his office received information that a St. Francisville man, identified as Thomas Morris, was holding a woman against her will. Deputies responded to the scene and safely removed the victim, who is from out of the state. Morris was arrested Sunday night, July 19.
Morris was booked into the West Feliciana Detention Center on charges of second-degree kidnapping and false imprisonment. A judge set Morris’ bond at $500,000.
“We’re actively investigating this case as a kidnapping. The victim is from out of state and detectives are trying to piece together the information we have to decide if additional charges may be added,” said West Feliciana Parish Sheriff Brian Spillman.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are possible as the case develops.

According to arrest records in East Baton Rouge Parish, Morris was arrested on Oct. 24, 2024, on domestic abuse battery/strangulation of a woman living with him. A judge granted the victim a protective order against Morris at that time, set to expire one year later. The order was dissolved in June 2025, according to court records.
Sheriff Spillman said that Morris is still considered a person of interest in two missing person’s cases: Madison Re’Nea Allen and Stephanie Hevia.
“Since they are still missing, we consider anyone who came into contact with them prior to their disappearance a “person of interest.” He told us previously that he knew Stephanie and saw her a few months before she disappeared, therefore, he’s a person of interest in our eyes,” Spillman said.
Stephanie Hevia
Stephanie Hevia was last seen in the St. Francisville area in August 2025. Hevia’s mother, Kathy Gilardi Guidry, last saw her daughter at Christmas in 2024.
Hevia grew up in a large family with six siblings and is a mother to two adult children, Guidry shared with UWK. Before her disappearance, she was especially close to her sister Rachel.
A friend was on the phone with Hevia when she allegedly said she was in the St. Francisville area with Thomas Morris, but was scared and attempting to run away from him into the woods, Guidry said. The phone call dropped and no one has had contact with Hevia since that time.
West Feliciana Parish Sheriff Brian Spillman said Morris is a person of interest in Hevia’s case.
“I’m hoping and praying for some answers to the disappearances of these young women. I’m leaving everything to the law enforcement and trust that they are doing their job,” Guidry said.
Madison Re’Nea Allen
It’s now been over two and a half years since Madison Re’Nea Allen was last seen. Morris’ arrest does not have to do with Madison but Sheriff Spillman tells UWK that deputies continue investigating Morris as a person of interest in her disappearance.
Mother, Lynn Rollins, said Allen was last seen Nov. 29, 2023 in Zachary, and it is uncharacteristic of her not to contact her family. Rollins has not given up on finding her daughter and speaks about her disappearance at every opportunity.
Rollins told UWK in August 2025 that Thomas Morris was the last person in contact with her daughter before she went missing.
Because Rollins didn’t initially have Allen’s exact location, she started reaching out to Allen’s Facebook friends to see if they knew where she was. One of the people she reached out to happened to be the man that Allen was living with at the time, which was Morris, Rollins told UWK. But when she spoke to him on Facebook messenger, he didn’t say anything about Allen staying in the home, only that he was also looking for her.
“I found out shortly after that where she was staying through a text message my daughter had sent one of her friends saying that she was stuck there with the address,” Rollins explained. That address ended up being where her daughter allegedly lived with Morris.
Allen was reported as “last seen on” November 29, 2023, by Zachary Police.
In their last phone conversation that November, Rollins said her daughter didn’t give any indication something could be wrong.
“When I spoke to her on the phone, November 15th of 2023 she was fine. She gave me no indication that anything was wrong. She was going to go back to school, and she was going to get a job.” After that date, Allen was declared a missing person.
