SAINT FRANCISVILLE —- A 67-year-old man on a motorcycle died Sunday afternoon while riding in West Feliciana Parish.
State Police troopers responded to LA 965 north of LA 966 in West Feliciana Parish shortly before 3:45 p.m. on May 3, 2026.
Bruce Bellingham, 67, of Jackson, Louisiana, died in the crash.
The preliminary investigation shows Bellingham was riding south on LA 965 on a 2017 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited. For unknown reasons, Bellingham did not follow the roadway right, going off the highway before he was ejected off the motorcycle.
Bellingham died on the scene. He was wearing a DOT-approved helmet at the time of the crash. Impairment is not suspected but routine toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis.
