ST. GEORGE — A woman accused of shooting her brother at a Tiger Bend Road apartment was arrested Tuesday, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office reported.
Kaylan Perry, 28, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison with attempted second-degree murder.
Perry and her brother were arguing in an apartment at 16161 Tiger Bend shortly after midnight, according to arrest documents.
At least one other person in the apartment fled when Perry picked up a handgun during the argument, the warrant said. That witness heard multiple shots fired inside and then found Perry’s brother injured inside.
The brother was taken to a hospital.
