Deputies arrested and charged a Thibodaux woman who allegedly hit a 3-year-old child in the face near Pierre Part.
Assumption Parish Sheriff Deputies arrested Brie Lynn Christenson, 22, on cruelty to a juvenile charge stemming from an incident that occurred at a residence off LA 70.
Deputies say an investigation revealed Christenson allegedly hit the child in the face and dragged her by the hair back inside the home.
Law enforcement arrested Christenson on July 20 and booked her in the Assumption Parish Detention Center. She was released on a $20,000 bond.
