A 56-yr-old woman was arrested and charged after an argument turned violent.
Helen Nora Williams was arrested after allegedly hitting her partner in the back of his head with a knife in their home Sunday, June 5, 2022 in Labadieville, according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Williams is charged with felony domestic abuse battery and aggravated second-degree battery. She remains in jail waiting on a bond hearing.
