BATON ROUGE — A woman at the Mall of Louisiana rang in the new year the same way she entered the world — completely naked.
A video posted on X, formerly Twitter, shows the woman jogging through the main corridor of the mall, fully nude, as bystanders turn to stare at the unusual scene.
At one point, the woman passes by Lee Michael’s Fine Jewelry, where several employees are visible.
Baton Rouge Police told UWK that the incident happened on January 3rd around 1 p.m., while an officer was working a special assignment at the mall.
The officer reported that mall security initially notified him about a woman running through the mall partially undressed, with later updates confirming she was fully nude. The woman was eventually found outside Dillard’s and detained by mall security.
BRPD told UWK they believe the woman could have been under the influence of narcotics at the time.
She was escorted out of the mall, and the BRPD incident report states that her father helped her get dressed. Once clothed, EMS arrived, administered a calming injection, and transported her to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for treatment.
UWK also contacted the Mall of Louisiana’s management for comment, but they directed us to BRPD for any statements.

This is in VERY POOR JUDGEMENT that you wrote this article and then chose to put it on the internet. This woman obviously has a mental illness! Putting this out there will be detrimental to any kind of normalcy for her or her family. She doesn’t deserve this. Please do the decent thing & take it down.
