CENTRAL — A 24-year-old Central woman was arrested for a head-on collision on Lovett Road from March. The two-vehicle crash resulted in serious injuries to multiple people, officials said.
It was on March 27 around 5:55 p.m. when Central Police officers responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash in the 12000 block of Lovett Road. Both vehicles were severely damaged, and three people had life-threatening injuries.
One vehicle had a husband and wife inside and both were rushed to a hospital in serious condition. The other vehicle was driven by a woman, Olivia H. Will, and she too was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Evidence from the scene, combined with toxicology results, revealed that the driver of the at-fault vehicle, Will, 24, of Central, was driving while under the influence of alcohol at nearly three times the legal limit, according to Central PD. Her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) measured 0.2064 percent.
Investigators also determined that speeding and improper lane usage were likely contributing factors in the crash.
After the months-long investigation, Will surrendered to Central Police on Nov. 18, 2025, and was booked on the following charges:
- First Degree Negligent Vehicular Injuring (3 counts)
- Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated
- Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
“The Central Police Department is dedicated to thoroughly investigating incidents such as this and ensuring that those who endanger others through impaired or reckless driving are held accountable,” said Chief of Police Roger Corcoran. “While there are no winners in a case like this, we remain committed to the fair and impartial administration of justice and to promoting safety on our roadways.”
