Work release inmate walks off job site, search underway

BATON ROUGE — The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a work release inmate who left a job site and did not return.

Deputies say Reginald Robertson, 56, was a Louisiana Department of Corrections inmate assigned to Harmony House on North Blvd.

Officials have not said what job site Robertson allegedly left. UWK has reached out to officials for more information about Robertson’s criminal history.

If you know where Robertson is, you can call your local law enforcement.

In Iberville Parish, sheriff’s deputies are searching for an inmate who escaped from the jail July 4. The searches are not related.
