PRAIRIEVILLE — An-18-year-old Prairieville man accused of abusing two girls “over a period of time” has been arrested, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Jessie Holmes was booked with three counts of molestation of a juvenile Tuesday and released Thursday on $120,000 bond.
The sheriff’s office said detectives were notified Tuesday of the reports of the two girls. They “obtained information and evidence that corroborated the victims’ reports” and arrested Holmes the same day, the sheriff’s office said.
Investigation into the crimes is ongoing and details of the crime were not released to protect the victims’ privacy.
